Members Meet 'n' Mingle - Inaugural Whisky Tasting

The Society is delighted to invite members and guests - lads and lassies - to this opportunity to mingle with Society members and supporters whilst enjoying the delights of a classic dram or two. Delicious canapés, a welcoming drink - beer, wine or softies - on arrival and throughout, will be supplemented by an address on "The Charms of Whisky" to be presented by Council Member, John Lunny. In the course of his presentation, John will introduce us to his "5KPI's" of good whisky and to a duo of his favourite contrasting drops - "Glenfarclas" from the banks of the Spey and "Lagavulin" from the island of Islay. Needless to say both malts will be tasted and toasted with gusto along the way. This shall be a memorable event in the historic setting of the United Service Club.
